There is a certain amount of uncertainty ahead as we head into the year 2021's summer. This includes the way the service we provide to our society can incorporate the highly valued relationship between humans which Rotary members have experienced during previous time. While the motto of "hands-face-space" is certain to become commonplace in our club, it is clear that trust is growing and that there is a greater number of face-to-face connections. Rotary has changed. The months that will lead up to summer 2021, there is still uncertainty about what we can do to provide services to our community, which includes the valued human connection that was enjoyed by Rotary previous members. Even though the "hands facing space" principle is certain to become part of daily routines in the club, there's no doubt that the feeling of security is growing and more members have been able to make connections face-to-face. Rotary is changing too. Rotary is a community that helps build lasting relationships. To ensure that we can continue to hold our meetings online, we've reintroduced service as well as social events in a safe meeting room. These new possibilities have been paired with the lessons we have learned from previous outbreaks to provide a brand perspective to Rotary. It's great to know that the Rotary support centre team provides important resources to assist with the promotion and maintenance of the infrastructure, keeping people who are members secure. The need for insurance and compliance is equally important. We are so proud of how innovative our members can tackle one of the biggest challenges facing our society. Rotary has also provided me with a great circle of friends that have a similar outlook. I am thankful for this.
