Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and received asylum to remain. Her family was raised within Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Ghanizada started her career in TV by playing in a number of National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character of Chiara a performance for which she won an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. Television guest-starring roles includes How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently played a supporting character on the show Blood Shot. Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she was a part of the team for the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In season 2, Night Shift, Ghanizada played Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as an actress on Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage during 2009.
